WEF DC spurs entrepreneurship and women's leadership.

More than 90 speakers international meet in Washington, D. C. to address actions and solutions, and encourage female entrepreneurship in the world
  • The 29, 30 and 31 of march it will meet personalities of more than 20 countries in the first WEF – Women Entrepreneurs Forum- in the city of Washington DC. Among them Emmanuel Nyirinkindi the IFC World Bank Group, the president of the IDB Lab, Irene Arias, Dr Nawal Al-Hosany of the Government of the United Arab Emirates, among other international experts in gender issues, entrepreneurship and sustainability. 
  • The WEF DC is a unique space that will develop in hybrid mode (face-to-face and virtual). Face-to-face is expected the participation of more than 500 women of all the continents, political leaders, social organizations, multilateral support to women and power in the enterprise.  With an expected scope of more than 15 thousand people connected in the live broadcast.

  • On the 29th of march the onsite meeting will be held in the main headquarters of Georgetown University, an entity that has joined the MET Community as organizers of this event with the aim of consolidating an innovative space for learning, inspiration and exchange of experiences that help to build a world with equal opportunities for all.

Washington, DC, march 20, 2023 – Rise to an event of international scope: the WEF DC, an event that drives the economic development of the society through entrepreneurship and women's leadership.

The Forum of Women Entrepreneurs (Women Entrepreneurs Forum – WEF DC) will be held in Washington DC from 29 to 31 march 2023, with the aim of bringing together and connecting women leaders, agents of social and economic change in Latin america, to discuss current topics of reflection and inspiration in the world of business and female entrepreneurship. 

The WEFDC is an event face-to-face and virtual that will have the participation of political leaders, entrepreneurs, mentors and investors; prominent world leaders that promote gender equality and female entrepreneurship. Likewise, it is expected the participation of more than 500 entrepreneurs social from north America and Latin america, including women who are currently leaders to be agents of change in each of their countries of origin. 

It is noteworthy that this Forum will provide a unique space to empower women in business and to promote partnerships and collaborations that support female entrepreneurship. Thanks to its methodology that includes panels of experts, activities, mentoring and networking.
