He confirmed the commitment of the Foundation MET Community for female entrepreneurship for the closure of gaps.
“434 entrepreneurs benefit from 51 municipalities impacted, 197 hours of training and 23 trainers experts involved, are some of the results of the programs are MET.”
The Foundation MET Community is a non-profit organization that has been working for two decades to promote and encourage female entrepreneurship sustainable, responsible and innovative in Latin america, Spain and the united States. Thanks to funding from USAID in the framework of the international cooperation project “Closing Gaps for the Financial Inclusion of Women-led Micro-enterprises in Colombia in partnership with Comfenalco Antioquia and the Corporation Prodepaz, benefited 434 women entrepreneurs from 51 municipalities Antioquia. The programs of training Program of Entrepreneurial Leadership (PLE) and Pitch Training Program (PTP) have been carried out since march 2022 to April 2023 aimed at the development of skills, knowledge, and tools of management. All the female participants have had the opportunity to move your business forward and be able to take it to another level through practical sessions tailored to meet your needs.
The four editions of the Program of Entrepreneurial Leadership (PLE) were supplemented with three editions of the Pitch Training Program (PTP)led by Elena Ferrero and Vera Sanchez respectively. Elena, with more than twenty years in the banking industry with experience in team management, communication, and innovation, and Vera, a renowned businesswoman argentina with a strong track record of more than ten years of taking entrepreneurs in the development of its Pitch. These two leaders have enjoyed your time with a team of committed and passionate about female entrepreneurship. "Thanks to the constant support we have received from all the team MET and, in particular, of all the dedication and commitment of Melissa Galindo, we have brought our enterprise to another level, thank you for motivating us to pursue our dreams and goals," say Sara Gómez and Juliana Rojas creative Sj Stylists Dog. The beneficiaries also acknowledge that they have had the opportunity to acquire a global vision and international business through programs that provides the Foundation MET.
During the seven editions they were given to a total 197 hours training in PLE and PTP thanks to the support, commitment and the unique human quality of 23 trainers expertsmen and women with a professional experience and international renown in their respective fields and areas of operation. During the training sessions the closeness of the trainers, the quality of the content and the ongoing guidance from the team of the Foundation MET Community in addition to the implementation of new technologies, promoted the ideal setting for hundreds of women geographically dispersed access to training high-impact, to transcend their limitations, create business partnerships and will be linked to networks of support. All this was reflected in the percentages of satisfaction reported by the same entrepreneurs who have been affected, who awarded a 97% the PLE and a 98% the PTP. This was evidenced in the testimony of two members entrepreneurs who participated in both programs:

The initial goal of the number of participants in the programs PLE and PTP has been exceeded in a record time. The women participants stated that after its passage by the PLE and the PTP have been able to overcome new challenges and this has been thanks to the tools and knowledge acquired during the training programs. The contribution of USAID to them, have had a reach beyond their ventures, impacting their families and communities. The results show a combined effort of entities related to the closure of gaps through the financial inclusion of women. The president of the MET, Yanire Braña states that “projects like this are vitally important for women as they undertake, their families and the economy.”
